Without your support, we cannot assist these helpless souls who deserve a new life. We depend entirely on donations to run out program. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

As a guide to where your money might be used, here’s a list of some common expenses we incur. When we take in a new dog, that dog receives the following care at the vet (at a minimum):
- comprehensive exam $15
- fecal test $20
- bordatella $20
- DAPPVL vaccination $20
- Rabies vaccination $20
- skin scrape $20
- heartworm test $25
- spay/neuter $80
- microchip $35
So, we’re looking at over $250 per dog…and that’s just if nothing is wrong! Since we rescue dogs off of the streets as well as pull from shelters, we almost always have some dogs in our program that need more extensive medical care. A few examples of those costs are:
heartworm treatment: $250
skin infection/mange: $100
Once a dog is healthy and waiting to be adopted, we still have to keep him/her up to date on heartworm and flea prevention – which costs approximately $20 per month per dog. We can sponsor one of our dogs by signing up to be a recurring monthly donor. Just choose the dog you’d like to help or make a generic donation that we can apply where it is most need.
Then, of course, there’s the non-medical necessities like food, kennels, toys, beds, and so on. We are always in need of the following items to be donated:
- dogs beds (used is fine)
- kennels (both wire and plastic/airline)
- dog toys (used is fine)
- dog food
- Heartguard and other heartworm pills
- Advantage/Comfortis/K9 Advantix and other flea preventatives
- dog bowls
